Diesel Surpasses 29 Lei as Fuel Prices Rise Ahead of Weekend
Fuel prices in Moldova continue to climb amid global market pressures. Diesel has exceeded 29 lei per liter, remaining more expensive than gasoline.
According to ANRE, diesel will be priced at up to 29.21 lei per liter between March 21–23, while gasoline will reach 28.47 lei.
Authorities note that Moldova’s full dependence on fuel imports makes it highly sensitive to international price fluctuations.
There is no nationwide shortage, though some stations report temporary supply gaps.
