A 15-year-old girl has died following a serious road accident in Moldova’s autonomous region of Gagauzia.
According to preliminary police information, the crash involved a motorcycle and an Audi car. The motorcycle was driven by a 21-year-old man, with the teenage girl riding as a passenger.
The impact proved fatal for the minor, who died at the scene. The motorcycle driver was injured and transported to hospital for medical treatment.
Police officers from Comrat responded to the scene and have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the crash.
